‘SMASH THE SYSTEM’, the first volume of writings to be produced by the Anarchism and Punk Book Project, is back from the printers and will be sent out to Crowdfunder supporters shortly.
The Anarchism and Punk Book Project was launched in the spring of 2021, and committed to producing a series of themed collections based on contributions from authors and researchers addressing contemporary and historic connections between punk culture and anarchist politics across the globe.
The first volume, subtitled Punk Anarchism As A Culture of Resistance, contains more than a dozen chapters exploring the different intersections between anarchism and punk in scenes around the planet and in different time periods.
As part of the wider promotion of the book, launch events are planned for London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin and New York.
The original plan to produce four volumes in the series has now been streamlined to three. Detailed of the (now extended) contents of volumes two and three will be publicised in the coming months.
