CRASS RECORDS HAVE confirmed (27 April) the label’s intention to re-release remastered versions of all three albums in the Bullshit Detector compilation series later this year.
Penny Rimbaud had more that hinted that the project was underway in an interview with Record Collector magazine last November. “Bullshit Detector is another reissue we’re working on,” he explained. “It has always been one of our favourite projects.” But this is the first confirmation that the release is going ahead.
The statement ‘Calling All Bullshitters’ revealed the following:
Crass Records have remastered the infamous ‘Bullshit Detector’ series in all its glorious entirety for release later this year. If you were in one of the contributing bands, or know someone who was, then please get in contact with One Little Independent ASAP. We know who you are, but not where, so get out of the garage and drop us a line. Thanks.
