RUBELLA BALLET WILL be joined by Brigandage and Damage UK for a matinee gig at The Half Moon, Putney, London on 6 April 2025.
The original Day-Glo Punks Rubella Ballet team-up once again with Michelle Brigandage and her band, and Damage UK – three bands that trace their roots all the way back to the late ‘70s. Following a sell-out show in London in 2024, we are delighted to have this line-up for a matinee special at The Half Moon Putney for what promises to be a tremendous afternoon of Punk Rock for only £12 (+booking) in advance. Doors open 1:15 pm, with bands performing from 1:30-4:30 pm.
RUBELLA BALLET – The original Day-Glo Punks, bridging the gap between the Pistols, X-Ray Specs and Crass. Original founding members Sid Truelove and Zillah Minx formed the gothic anarcho-punk Rubella Ballet in 1979 and have released several albums. Their incredible stage show is not to be missed!
BRIGANDAGE – Positive Punk pioneers return! The original Posipunk stylists from the neo-Goth early days of post Ants and Banshees noir wave are back for a rare live appearance.DAMAGE UK – Born from the ashes of first wave 1977 Punk survivors Nuffin’, Damage UK have incorporated a wide range of post Punk influences over the last 5 years to create a unique sound and an exciting live experience. The bands two albums and new 7″ single Rosalyn feature in the set and be available from the band.
