Steve Ignorant’s new project Slice of Life play in Belper, Derbyshire on 12 July 2013, along with Andy T and Chris Butler. On 13 July Chris Butler is joined by Blyth Power at the same Queen’s Head venue.

A night of great music in the intimate and friendly atmosphere of The Queen’s Head, Belper, Derbyshire. This unique concert promises to be a wonderful evening of words and music, full of passion and protest and features the world premier of Steve Ignorant’s Slice Of Life – Steve’s eagerly awaited latest project. Also appearing is Andy T – The former Crass collaborator and renowned politically charged musical poet. Opening the event is Chris Butler who will be performing the first of two successive nights at the venue (of two totally different sets with no songs repeated) armed with just his acoustic guitar. The following night Chris will be playing the venue with Blyth Power and a special duo ticket at a cost of 10 pounds for both concerts can be bought in advance. This is to reward those who are making a weekend of it as a gesture to help support those who will be travelling to a small town in Derbyshire for the weekend. Campsite and B&B information can be found below. Tickets for each gig seprately are available also which is unusual for a ‘pay on the door’ venue due to the volume of interest in the two concerts.
