Hi. My name is John and was the singer/guitarist in a band called “Side Effects”. We were lucky enough to be the first band to play on the opening nights of both versions of the “Bunker”. Great times and hope the celebrations for the anniversary go well. Some great people have come, and sadly, too many are gone. Couldnt think of a better time or place to go through your teenage years. I reckon anyone who was a part of it will remember the old days fondly. Yes there was inter-band rivalries and angst, but real bonds were created. I only hope that in another 35 years, there are kids out there now aged 18 that have the same sense of being part of something that `mattered`. hope we werent “The Last Gang IN Town”…
