LAUNCHING AT THE Rebellion 2023 festival, a brand new and extensively illustrated ‘tour book’ documents the history of the Steve Ignorant Band since its formation in 2019.
Doing It Our Way describes how the band was created, by the musicians of Slice of Life and their new percussionist Jay, to take Crass songs out on tour across the UK and beyond.
Live and behind-the-scenes photographs by Simon Balaam are mixed with the testimony of band members and Ignorant’s recollections of each and every gig the band have played.
Self-published by Ignorant’s Dimlo Productions, this new paperback features ‘writing from Penny Rimbaud on the back cover’.

This second live album by the band follows on from Overground Record’s release of a recording of the band’s set from the September 2021 show at The Old Cold Store, Nottingham. ‘This has some different songs on it than the previous one,’ Ignorant confirms.
